Good Homes for Good Lives.

Repairs and Maintenance Summit Coming Up – 24 April 2012

The Good Homes one day summit in Wellington on April 24 is the culmination of four years of research into safe and healthy housing for older people, led by the Centre for Research, Evaluation and Social Assessment (CRESA).

The key focus of the Good Homes programme has been to identify how the home repairs and maintenance needs of older people can be met so older people can stay safely and comfortably in their own homes and communities.

The Good Homes research is a new and practical approach to helping people maintain their homes, stay healthy and have more choices about their housing as they grow older.

The Good Homes summit is an opportunity to present and review the findings with support service providers, housing providers, local and central government staff and funding organisations and showcase the practical tools that have been developed out of the research.

A final programme for the summit is available under the latest publications page (see links to the right).
